Why Now Is the Time to Shop Our Swarovski Crystal Jewellery

Why Now Is the Time to Shop Our Swarovski Crystal Jewellery

If you’ve ever picked up a piece of our bullet jewellery, you’ve probably noticed it right away, it doesn’t feel overly polished or mass-made. It feels real.

That’s always been the goal at Four Elks. Every piece starts with something raw; a spent bullet casing that gets turned into something wearable. But what really brought that balance together over the years was the detail inside it: the crystal.

For a long time, that crystal has been Swarovski.

Not because of the name alone, but because of how it worked with what we created. The colours were consistent, the clarity was sharp, and it added just enough light without taking away from the character of the casing itself. It became part of the look people recognized.

Our Swarovski crystals have been used across:

  • Birthstone jewellery
  • Wedding pieces
  • Everyday bullet earrings and necklaces

They weren’t just an add-on, they were part of the identity.

What Changed in the Industry

Behind the scenes, things shifted in a big way. In November 2020, Retail Jeweller reported that Swarovski would stop supplying loose crystals and gemstones to many jewellery brands, resellers, and other B2B accounts as part of a new strategy, with major account closures beginning in June 2021.

Later, the Financial Times reported that Swarovski had shut the professional division that supplied crystal components to the retail and fashion industries as part of its turnaround.

For small businesses like Four Elks, that meant one simple thing: access to the crystals we used was no longer guaranteed.

What We Did About It

When we saw that shift happening, we made a decision early.

We bought as many Swarovski crystals as we could.

Because those crystals were part of how we built our jewellery. They were part of the colour, the finish, and the consistency people had come to expect.

Right now, every piece you see still carries that same foundation.

But the reality is that our supply isn’t endless.

Why This Matters Now

This is where things become important.

The pieces we’re making right now reflect a specific version of Four Elks, one that includes Swarovski crystals in the designs people already know and love.

When that supply is gone, we don’t know if we’ll replace it in the same way.

We’re not interested in switching to something that doesn’t feel right just to keep things consistent. So what comes next may look different.

That’s why if you’ve had your eye on a piece, especially silver or gold birthstone earrings or a certain crystal colour, this is the time to get it.

Because once it’s gone, it’s not something we can guarantee will come back the same way.

Why People Keep Choosing Bullet Jewellery

There’s a reason people come back for these pieces.

Each one starts with a real casing, often sourced from local ranges, and gets transformed into something completely different. Instead of being discarded, it becomes something wearable, something personal.

Even when two pieces use the same crystal colour, the casing itself is never identical. The finish, the marks, the way the light hits it, it’s always slightly different.

That’s why people don’t just grab “a pair.”

They choose that pair.

Why People Love It

  • Every piece is one-of-a-kind
  • It doesn’t feel mass-produced
  • It works as both everyday jewellery and statement pieces
  • It carries meaning through birthstones and colour
  • It makes a strong, personal gift

How People Actually Wear It

One of the best things about bullet jewellery is how easily it fits into everyday life.

You don’t need to build an outfit around it.

A pair of earrings with a hoodie and jeans still feels put together. A necklace can take a simple top and make it feel finished without being overdone. These pieces work just as well with boots and denim as they do with something a little more dressed up.

They don’t try too hard, they just work.

5 Easy Ways to Style Bullet Jewellery

  1. Keep your outfit simple: A basic tee, denim, and a pair of bullet earrings is often all you need. Let the jewellery stand out.
  2. Pair it with western staples: Cowboy boots, denim jackets, and cowhide accessories all work naturally with these pieces.
  3. Use a necklace to finish your look:
If your outfit feels plain, a bullet necklace adds just enough detail without overwhelming it.
  4. Choose your crystal tone intentionally:  Softer tones feel more subtle and feminine, while deeper colours like sapphire, red, or green stand out more.
  5. Wear it every day, not just for events: These pieces are built for real life, not just special occasions.

Birthstones, Weddings, and Meaningful Pieces

One of the biggest reasons people are drawn to our jewellery is the birthstone connection.

Each colour carries meaning. Whether it’s your own month, someone you’re buying for, or something tied to a memory, it adds a personal layer to the piece.

We’ve also had a lot of people come to us for weddings.

The combination of a polished crystal and a raw casing makes these pieces feel unique while still being something you can wear long after the day is over.

If you’re looking for:

  • Matching bridal party pieces
  • Specific colour themes
  • Birthstone-based designs

It’s always best to reach out directly so we can help you plan and create something that fits.

Saving Your Piece Before It’s Gone

Because these pieces are one-of-a-kind and because our Swarovski supply is limited, ordering online is the best way to make sure you don’t miss out.

Once a piece is sold, there usually isn’t another exactly like it.

Easy Ways to Shop

  • Order online to save your exact piece
  • Pre-order before a show and pick up at the event
  • Contact us directly for weddings or custom orders
  • Visit us in person at the Western Fair Market

See It in Person

If you want to see the pieces up close, you can always find us at the Western Fair Market in London, Ontario.

We’re there every weekend:

  • Saturday: 10AM – 3PM
  • Sunday: 10AM – 2PM

Seeing the jewellery in person is different. You can compare pieces, see how the crystal catches the light, and find the one that stands out to you.

And with one-of-a-kind pieces, that matters.

What Comes Next

We know this chapter won’t last forever.

The Swarovski crystals we’ve used for years will eventually run out. And when they do, our jewellery will evolve.

But what won’t change is the reason people connect with these pieces.

It’s the mix of raw and refined.
It’s the fact that no two are the same.
It’s how easily they fit into your life.

Right now, that version of Four Elks is still here.

Just not forever.
